What are T-levels and what are the grades worth?
T-levels are a new two-year qualification for students aged 16-19 in the UK that are equivalent to A-levels and are designed to provide technical knowledge and skills needed for specific industries.
There are 3 grades that can be achieved in T-levels:
- Pass
- Merit
- Distinction
A Pass grade is roughly equivalent to a C grade at A-level, a Merit is similar to a B grade, and a Distinction is equivalent to an A grade.
These grades are assessed through a combination of exams, practical assessments, and workplace placements, with a focus on real-world skills and knowledge.
