More Young People Out of Work Due to Health – Study
A recent study has shown that a growing number of young people are finding themselves out of work due to health issues. The study, conducted by researchers at the University of Health Sciences, found that mental health problems and chronic illnesses were the leading causes of unemployment among individuals aged 18-35.
The study further illustrated the impact that poor health can have on a person’s ability to maintain employment, with many young people reporting difficulty in managing the demands of work while also dealing with their health issues. This has led to a higher rate of job turnover and a lower overall success rate in the workforce.
Experts are calling for more support and resources to be directed towards addressing the health needs of young people in order to prevent further unemployment and improve overall well-being. By providing access to mental health services, chronic illness management programs, and workplace accommodations, it is believed that the number of young people out of work due to health issues can be significantly reduced.
It is clear that there is a need for a more comprehensive approach to addressing the health needs of young people in order to ensure their success in the workforce and overall quality of life.
