Policy Regarding the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
Greetings to all visitors of this website. We value the intellectual property rights of others just as we expect others to value ours. In accordance with the regulations of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, any copyright owner or their representative can issue a takedown notice to us through our designated DMCA Agent specified below. As a provider of internet services, we are privileged to claim immunity from infringement accusations under the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA. To file a sincere infringement claim, you must present us with a notice containing the following details:
Notification of Infringement Claim
- A signature from the copyright owner or their authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed;
- Identification of the infringing material to be removed, along with details to help locate it;
- Contact information of the complaining party such as name, address, email, phone number, and fax number;
- A declaration from the complaining party asserting unauthorized use of the material;
- A confirmation that the information provided is true and that the complaining party is authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
Section 512(f) of Title 17 USC enforces civil penalties against individuals intentionally misrepresenting information in an infringement notification under 17 USC §512(c)(3), including costs and attorney fees.
Kindly direct all takedown notices via our Contact page, with email being the recommended method for swift response.
Note that we may disclose the identity and information in any copyright infringement claim we receive to the alleged infringer. By submitting a claim, you acknowledge and agree to this practice.
Counter Notification – Request for Material Restoration
If you receive a takedown notice due to a copyright infringement claim, you may provide a counter notification to have the material reinstated. The notification should be submitted in writing to our DMCA Agent and include the following details as per 17 USC Section 512(g)(3):
- Your signature (both electronic and physical);
- Description of the removed material and its original location;
- An affirmation, under penalty of perjury, that the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and phone number, along with consent to jurisdiction for legal matters.
Submit your counter notification via our Contact page, with email being the recommended means of communication.
Policy on Repeat Infringers
We treat copyright infringement with great seriousness. As per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act’s repeat infringer policy, we track DMCA notices from copyright holders and make efforts to identify repeat infringers. Those found violating our internal repeat infringer policy will face account termination.
