Norway king flies home after Malaysia hospital stay

The king of Norway, King Harald V, has flown back to Norway after spending several days in a hospital in Malaysia. The 84-year-old monarch was admitted to the hospital earlier this week for a viral infection.

According to a statement from the Royal Palace, King Harald is now in stable condition and will continue his recovery at home in Norway. The king was in Malaysia on a private holiday when he fell ill and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Norwegian monarch has been on the throne since 1991 and is the country’s first king in over half a century. He is a popular figure in Norway and is known for his down-to-earth personality and his commitment to environmental issues.

We wish King Harald a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on his feet soon.
