Elon Musk sued over $128m unpaid severance at Twitter

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, is facing a lawsuit over allegations that he failed to pay a former Twitter employee $128 million in severance.

The lawsuit, filed in a California court, claims that Musk promised the employee the substantial severance package as part of a deal to join Twitter. However, after the employee was laid off as part of a restructuring at the social media company, Musk allegedly failed to honor the agreement.

The employee, who has not been named, is seeking the full amount owed in severance, along with damages for breach of contract and emotional distress.

Representatives for Musk have not yet commented on the lawsuit.
