It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney at the age of 84. Mulroney, who served as the 18th Prime Minister of Canada from 1984 to 1993, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
During his time in office, Mulroney was known for his efforts to modernize the Canadian economy and strengthen ties with the United States. He also played a key role in the negotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
After leaving politics, Mulroney continued to be active in public life, serving on numerous boards and committees. He was also known for his philanthropic work, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare.
