Flitescooter eFoil First Ride: This $13K Hydrofoil Meant for Amateurs Is a Rough Ride
Recently, we had the opportunity to test out the Flitescooter eFoil, a $13,000 hydrofoil that is marketed towards amateur riders. The experience was definitely a rough ride, to say the least.
From the moment we stepped onto the board, we could tell that this was not going to be an easy ride. The board itself is quite heavy and unwieldy, making it difficult to maneuver in the water. And once we did manage to get moving, the ride was anything but smooth.
The eFoil felt unstable and shaky, making it hard to maintain balance. We found ourselves falling off the board multiple times, much to our embarrassment. And when we did manage to stay on, the jerky movements of the board made for a less-than-pleasant experience.
Overall, while the Flitescooter eFoil may be marketed towards amateurs, we would recommend that those looking for a smooth ride look elsewhere. The $13,000 price tag may be attractive, but the rough ride just isn’t worth it.
