WHO fears for patients at Gaza’s Nasser hospital

The World Health Organization (WHO) has expressed deep concern for the patients at Gaza’s Nasser hospital, as the ongoing conflict in the region continues to escalate.

WHO officials have reported that the hospital is facing severe shortages of essential medical supplies, including medications, oxygen, and fuel for generators. This has put the lives of patients, including those in critical condition, at risk.

With limited access to medical care and ambulances unable to reach the hospital due to the violence, patients are struggling to receive the care they desperately need.

The WHO is calling for an immediate ceasefire to allow for the safe delivery of medical supplies and the evacuation of patients to hospitals outside of Gaza. The organization is also urging all parties involved in the conflict to respect the sanctity of medical facilities and personnel.

As the situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, the WHO fears for the safety and well-being of the patients at Nasser hospital and is calling for immediate action to ensure their protection.
